[WGJ4K: Mario Vs Sonic]

Not really sure...

I assume that was supposed to be funny seeing as it has the word 'jokez' in it's title... But to be honest I didn't find it all that amusing. It didn't really have much to do with Mario OR Sonic, basically just two unrelated characters in suits... I was expecting at least some quick movement from Sonic, even if just running into a wall at high speed, and I can't believe the Mario character didn't jump on Sonic while he was down. I haven't seen There Will Be Blood, so that reference fell sort of flat, but that's not your fault. On the other hand: Great animation. I can't stress that enough, it was awesome. But everything else just fell short.

Yehghudjob, my brain is malfunctioning.

It was just short a couple strobing colour backgrounds and miscellaneous, unrelated bitmaps floating across screen from a good old epilepsy epidemic. And speaking of mental illnesses: What a random guest appearance from that sonichu guy!? Good job.

Gotta say I liked it.

it was really familiar but somehow refreshing at the same time.
I liked the humour, and the animation wasn't bad either. It wasn't perfect, but i don't think I'd change anything. And I'll bet you do even better next time!

Instant classic.

The finished animation at the beginning was incredible. Simply amazing. As others have said, reminds one of studio ghibli or oldschool disney animation. Excellent job.
If I was at home on my computer I'd offer my services, but I'm not gonna have access to flash for a while.
Good luck all the same, I can't wait to see the finished product, I'm sure there're going to be a lot of great people who want to work on this.

I saw this a while ago before it had the music. Lemme just say that the music made it a lot better, but you still need to make it a bit more fast paced in order to keep people's attention piqued. I know timing can be hard to nail in flash, so just keep that in mind when you're touching up the rest of them. It's your only real weakness as far as I can tell. Another way to up the quility a bit would be to work on the sound, but that's more a problem of your equipment, rather than your skills, so I'd suggest you keep timing your main priority. Hope this helps a bit, and good luck!

I've been a HUGE fan ever since I saw A Simple Line 8, I absolutely loved your part in that. You've influenced me a lot. I'd been waiting so long to see something more from you that I was beginning to fear you had died and would never grace us with your singular creativity again. Thankfully, this has banished my fears and sated my thirst for your animation for a while. Show us something new soon, dude. I can hardly wait.

Cool to see some faces that i can guess at and try to match. i took note of the credits and tried to keep track and was surprised at some of the results, but i'll just assume i fucked up.

Nicely done, so far.

As a flash animator aspiring to do something similar to this, I can appreciate the sheer amount of work and effort you put into this. I know it can get to a point where you just want to get it out there, but I really think you should have taken more time to polish it up. Some parts were absolutely beautiful. The angles and details were magnificent, but it can be easy to judge flash like this from its worst point. Especially with the introductory episode to an aspiring series like this, it would have made all the difference if it were of a consistent quality. That said, I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see the rest!
had a definite reminiscence of Hellsing in there :D
